Instead of the one that takes a string literal consisting of a single
character.
Also remove the clang-tidy target, 'run-clang-tidy' does a better job of
doing the same today.

Now all logging is done after checking if the
level in question is enabled or not (thanks to
the macros LOG_XXX), which saves unnecessary
conversions and stringification when said level
is disabled.
